Every day is the first
Day of your life
Monday I start radiation treatment
for prostate Cancer
Been getting shot in belly
Female hormones bring out the girl in me
You know hot flashed and giggling
Doc says it should extend my life
five to seven years
Does this mean
I have to do the second grade
over again?
I hated my second grade teacher
The only thing she did was set me back one year
He said I well have more energy
As a kid it always got me in trouble
At least I well avoid Alzheimer's

I want a Red Ryder bee bee gun
And an electric baseball game
No barbie dolls for me despite the shots
In the second grade I got a warm Sweater
and knitted socks the first time
The problem is radiation is ten minutes
a day for three months and my ballet
Instructor is not happy in the least
