 Twilight in My Blood

All this thunders in my blood:

When the last summer I've known
Has laced through my hair,
Let me take my last Winter
Through a window
With an Atlantic view

Where rain pelts the green waves
And Sea skies rise
From Grace to Grace

Let me look upon the waves
Til my eyes see no more

As I landed in this world,
Once again, let me break free,
Liberated by your open hands
Upon the Atlantic breeze,
Again a part of all things

That death will not
So much as take me
But let me begin again

A new journey on the currents
When my path on the shore ends

2015
from Numina
