Still Waters

What is it behind that quiet exterior, so many layers not available to anyone but a chosen few? A persona of control and a level of latent power of unpredictability within that personality of introversion. What lies hidden beneath that knowing look of someone who is sure of their place on this planet?
Still waters run deep as they say, slowly formulating their response to the world. Hiding a creativity that no-one will see until it is ready to be revealed, all angles thought out, all consequences accepted. They are the creators of change, the formulators of new concepts and the makers of history. They are the quiet achievers, those who dare to dream but are awake to their own potential.

Unlikely to be waylaid, defending themselves to the external pressures of negativity. Minds that are never at rest, often pre-occupied with problems that are of no concern to others. This fortress of introverted thoughts can at times conceal inner turmoil. An Achilles heal that can destroy a quality of life, or blind them to self awareness.

Often overlooked while sitting there on the verge, listening intently, selective in their appreciation of others. Often discerning qualities of other people before committing themselves. Silence is golden, stimulation comes from within, no need for the voice of approval

Still waters never belonged to the shallow egos, too eager to seek approval of others to feel a success, it's an opportunity to proceed at your own pace and ability.
Being omnivert I have a foot in each camp, jealous of the transcendent power of the quiet Occasionally involving myself in the exuberance of the moment but with some reservation
