lost and then found

Light And Darkness Never Mix

the light and the darkness never mix
It's 11:37 and my head hurts
And i must work
Never could see the future
But its footprint lingers still
I will see you in the garden
Or the field where i pull these darn weeds
My single life is starting to haunt me
For the freedom of love can't find me
I will endeavor to create a love for my heart someday
The light and the darkness never mix
And the respect is only given if received
Give and take if you don't feel it leave me alone
There must be balance
The light and darkness never mix
Though if we fight and argue don't walk away
Don't leave me alone
For if your in love you will make up
And if it's lust I've found that lovers step aside
I ask for forgiveness but as i try to talk you cast my words down
And shatter the thoughts like glass
The light and darkness never mix
And splinters fall and some tear the flesh from my bones
Stagger across the emotion of anger the crests like the peacocks
As they chatter like they do and let us know
Questions are now the answers
So mixed up i try to sort them out
Strangers have more fun in a one night stand then you and me
When we fight its stronger than the tidal waves crashing the beaches and reefs
Our rage is kindled but i am a few years older and i hold it down
You have no filter and the words rush so fast you did not think them out
I walk away to see the starlight once more
You hide in the dark and hide it out and in places where my strength is leaving
For i walk into the light
And my strength comes back to me
wonder if the heavens knew
That light and darkness never mix
So please
forgive me I'm dreaming and see the angel in side
 of your soul!
But you wont let it come out and the torture of the cost
takes me away.
For as was said before Light and darkness can't co exist
The light and darkness never mix
