lost and then found
The Fire
Where are you
So far away I can see
That the smoke has not cleared
And the lungs are hard to breath
Where are you I search for you
So far away I cannot here
That smoke came from fire
That the crackle still is loud
And the lungs are tight from the smell
Or can you smell carbon monoxide
Its hard to tell
When I search I see nothing from the smoke
It bellows forth and takes a very heavy toll
Where are you
Did you get caught in the back draft of the flames
Its hard to see the burning sensation takes ahold
And I'm blind as can be
When I dream its delusion for the oxygen is scarce
And I fear the fire burning in the air has taken
The fire of love away again
So far away I can see
That the smoke has not cleared
And the lungs are hard to breath
Where are you I search for you
So far away I cannot here
That smoke came from fire
That the crackle still is loud
And the lungs are tight from the smell
Or can you smell carbon monoxide
Its hard to tell
When I search I see nothing from the smoke
It bellows forth and takes a very heavy toll
Where are you
Did you get caught in the back draft of the flames
Its hard to see the burning sensation takes ahold
And I'm blind as can be
When I dream its delusion for the oxygen is scarce
And I fear the fire burning in the air has taken
The fire of love away again
