Emperor Mouse

Dark shadowy corner in
a huge warehouse
The domain of the little
emperor mouse

Dainty little fella with
long whiskers
Huge dark eyes with
perked up ears

He ran hither tither, to and
fro in his kingdom
Had so much to do never
suffered boredom

He jumped on a box and
inspected his empire
Only to find there was not
a soul to call him sire

But he did rule long with a
mind and body, sound
For luckily in that area there
was no cat around
