Your purpose in life,
Isn't obvious at first,
To assist or give strife,
We all have a thirst.
When young we learn,
About good and bad,
Which one you yearn?
Determines sad or glad.
Knowledge is the key,
Know right from wrong,
It will set your mind free,
You must remain strong.
Evil surrounds you,
But so does good,
Always stay true,
That's pretty shrewd.
Those choices you make,
You will never forget,
Try not to forsake,
It will cause regret.
Retain your own mind,
Life gets you confused,
Try not to be blind,
Ensure you're not used.
All that you acquire,
Deep inside your head,
Use it to inspire,
But watch where you tread,
This minefield called living,
Is a dangerous game,
At times so unforgiving,
When you're in the frame.
Be there when needed,
Don't court resentment,
If this advice is heeded,
