Lost at Sea
Drenched yet drained,
soaked yet thirsty
That's how one can be
when lost at sea
Water everywhere with the
waves splashing
Not a single drop useful to
quench the yearning
How can it be that there is
dearth amongst plenty
With so much water around
but the waterbag empty
To die in the largest water body
without a drop of water
Must be the ultimate punishment
God has to offer
soaked yet thirsty
That's how one can be
when lost at sea
Water everywhere with the
waves splashing
Not a single drop useful to
quench the yearning
How can it be that there is
dearth amongst plenty
With so much water around
but the waterbag empty
To die in the largest water body
without a drop of water
Must be the ultimate punishment
God has to offer
