As a Christian, I tell you the truth,
And I would never try to lie;
Not being arrogant or uncouth,
As I try to respond to why.
The Holy Spirit and my thought,
Are fairly much being the same;
As He supports me what I sought,
Being within as I proclaim.
I have deep sorrow and heartache,
And wish that I could be condemned;
Sometimes I feel God does forsake,
As my heart has not been opened.
Maybe I should be cut from Christ,
For the sake of all the others;
Letting their time be sacrificed,
To be the important brothers.
But as an adopted child,
I have the glory from the Lord;
Pledging I will not go wild,
Like most gentiles have ignored.
For it is what Moses had taught,
Of the promises and worship;
To be a captive that was caught,
In such of a relationship.
The Messiah has descended,
According to human nature;
And to Heaven has ascended,
When I became a new creature.
The Messiah is over all,
As God over everything;
Forever blest He will not fall,
To share the glory He does bring.
It is not children of this earth,
That would be the children of God;
Rather descendants given birth,
From Abraham, the seed unflawed.
