Poetic-Verses

'' Believe Me You'll Win ''

I'm fully aware,
A poem is there,
At the moment it's all in my mind,
The concept is good and I do want to share
Great is how I want it defined.

I start with it,
Then I add a bit,
Somehow it doesn't look right,
It's making me feel like proper twit,
There's no beginning or ending in sight.

I start once more,
My mind closes the door,
Suddenly I'm staring into space,
This poetry lark is becoming a chore,
In fact, it's a bloody disgrace.

My words won't bond,
My head's being conned,
This is causing me terrible strife,
Perhaps if I purchased a magic wand,
I could write the poem of my life.

But wands don't exist,
I can't see through the mist,
My work is slowly drifting away,
I think it was destined never to exist,
But I'll continue come what may.

No more fears,
At last it appears,
Words are flowing from every direction,
Now I'm storming up through the gears,
I treat every verse with affection.

Perseverance is the key,
It sets your mind free,
The secret is to never give in,
Though in patience you'd need a degree,
In the end,

‘' Believe Me You'll Win ‘'
