Dont let tobacco, take control of your health, living, and life
a person, just doesnt, realize , that tobacco, is cutting there life short, with every cigarette, every puff, every toxic swirl, of deadly smoke, cigarettes, are cutting you, like a knife

Alot of kids, start to  smoke, when  they are in middle school,  and high school
just to be popular, and act daring, and cool

When i was in the sixth grade, i remember, some kids, started to smoke, they thought, they were  just  so cool
now forty sevenm years latter,  who is still cool,  smoking, who is now, the fool

Smokingsmoking, is toxic, cancerous, deadly, even effects those nearby, with second hand smoke, and smoking is not kool
When it takes over your life, and rule

Smoking at first, when your young, may impress others, and seem so cool
but, the older that you get, your life 24/7---is under cigarette rule

In  sone places, i know, in minnesota, now for a  fact
cigarettes, cost eight dollars per pack

I know, cigarettes and nicotene, are so deally, and addictive
those who smoke, just do not realize, how cigarettes cut your life short,  how you live, not counting all the deadly second hand smoke to others that you give

Who ever thought, that a plant, could, turn out to be a killer
smoking tobacco,  the older that you get, is just no thriller

In the old picture shows, smoking, was glorified, and smoking, seemed, so  popular, and cool
its sad, but so many young people, strat smoking, younb, one day,  they will realize, they were the fool

When i see someone, smoking a cigarette,
I know, one day, they will have, deep regret

But the cigarettes, are so factory pacvked with deadfly addictive chemicals and addictive nicotene, its the hardest habit to break, people are trtapped in the addiction of cigarettes and continuesmoking, day and night
the same routine,  every  hour, reaching for a cigarette, to light

Cigarettes are so addictive, deadly,   Second hand smoke
Causing all who are near, you to unfairily, breathe your smoke, and choke

Dont let tobacco, control you
every breath that you take, every minute of your life, in all you do

Just walk into any nursing home, at any place
and you will see, all the folks, who had a habit, of smoking, a cigarette
now, many on oxygen, wished they could, have would have, should have, quit, and it is there regret

So if you still smoke, and you are reading this
to quit, cigarettes, and stop smoking,  for you is my sincere wish
