Here in rochester, minnesota, at the cakvary cemetary
i went to pay, respect, to my, mom and dad, agnes, and henry, here where they lie, side by side, resting in oeace burried

ti stood, at there graveside today
i paused, talked to them  both, and i did pray

Side by side, here in rochester, minnesota, at the calvary cemetary, resting in peace, forever side by side they lay
i talked, to my mom and dad, as i prayed, asking them both, to help me in my life, living, and love. And to guide my way

With my mom and dad, i never had to say, much
because inknow they loved there johnny, and mom, called me her, johnboy, they loved me, so much, we were always, so in loving touch
