Poly-Gorgon
I'm a freak of nature
you say
but you're common
garden variety and
everyday
I can see through your kind
anytime anyway
you are
you come
less than a dime
to the dozen
you could be pulled with the others
like fish from the barrel
all copies of one another
not following any directions
with no up or down arrows
you bore me
but I'm a freak of nature
uncommon
so when you spew your venom
I simply form it into white pearls
if you looked closely into your mirror
you would find
two separate faces
you think you are Miss
Clever Polly Purebred
but the Gorgon is the one
which the whole world really sees
each time the public sees this head
and then you open one of your two yaws
(which is far too often......)
