SING, BOB DYLAN

Since fourteen
Been listening to you
During those days
Learned how to play
DON'T THINK TWICE IT'S ALRIGHT
THE TIMES ARE A CHANGING
BLOWING IN THE WIND
On the piano-forte
Felt akin to heaven then
Up there at CONIFER LODGE
Snoqualmie Pass, Washington, USA
In the basement of the lodge
Alone
Back door open in the Summer
My fingers touched the keys
Dylan touched my mind
It was divine
His rough voice
My soul longs for
His harmonica squeals
Onward
Into 2016

Haven't had a piano
Since I was in college
Always had a guitar
Music takes me far
Into more than the all of Earth
Something is reborn in me
Sometimes Bob Dylan just sets free
The good and bad
Of this life I've had
Universal songs
To me belongs
Inside
The poets' mind
Where Bobbie Dylan's
Poetry fills more than ears
If one tastes, sees, touches, smells
From the deep wells

Water words
Trickle down
Splashing drops
To the tune of
Bobbie, Bobbie, Mr. Dylan
Thanks for telling us what you're feeling
Because old hippies
Dealing
With the same kind of
Body as you
While our minds write
Brand new
From the water wells
From the music that heals
All that is told
In desperation
With hesitation
With fears
And tears
We all still here
From fourteen to near
Mixing up your medicine
Tapping out your tunes
Heading to your basement
Heading to the ruins
Back into the kingdom
The sunlight of many noon's

On comes the HURRICANE
With it's Boom-Ta-Boom
Your first record I own
With it the girl's never alone
Looking at your face
All the grace
In the gravel of your voice
Leaves me with no choice
I have to love you, Bob Dylan
You taught me how to
Be full of feeling
Finally
Increases with age
As our bodies grow weak
Minds are strong still as the
Sage
That writes inside us burning
Never old
Always yearning
To be FOREVER YOUNG
Full of fun
Not afraid
Until we've laid it down
In Earth's cold ground
While spirit's will fly
To the heaven in the sky.
