Poetic-Verses

'' The Alternative Is Death ''

When young and carefree,
Immortality awaits,
Your eyes let you see,
What your vision creates.

Teenage years follow,
You learn how to cope,
Many tears some hollow,
But you do live in hope.

Adulthood is yours,
Is it what you believed?
With no miracle cures,
Is it what you perceived.

Soon two become one,
Parenthood will follow,
New life has begun,
It's so hard to swallow.

What used to be you,
Is maturing with age,
Could it really be true?
Time's so hard to gauge.

What you've passed on,
They'll then gift to theirs,
Compassion and brawn,
They're such priceless shares.

Treasure each living second,
As if it's your last,
One day you'll be beckoned,
Life flies by so fast.

Though age makes you colder,
Enjoy every breath,
Don't resent getting older,
