Poetic-Verses

'' That's Another Spring Clean ''

I devised a plan,
To get rid of the wife,
Being a man,
I thought of a knife.

This was war,
She'd be on her way,
I entered the drawer,
To attack my prey.

I wasn't aware,
Everything was gone,
This isn't fair,
I'm again put upon.

The scissors will do,
They're in the tin,
This cannot be true,
She's as guilty as sin.

My weapons of choice,
Had all been removed,
I could hear her voice,
How I disapproved.

I know what,
I'll get my rope,
I felt distraught,
Where did it elope.

I'm feeling haunted,
Everything's disappeared,
Am I being taunted,
This is worse than feared.

I need a drink,
This is risky,
To the depths I sink,
She's moved my Whisky

When they go on a mission,
It's to our cost,
It's a female condition,
Everything gets lost.

What I hated most,
Had made everything glean,
Then I heard her boast,

‘' That's Another Spring Clean ‘'
