Purple Rain

All that I've known is fading
Till soon there will be no one I know
Those stars that once shone so brightly
Now only leave a warm glow.

So much has changed so quickly
It's as though nature wants to turn a new page
The landscape that was once so familiar
Now needing to start a new age.

Life seems to crumble before me
Every picture only speaks of more pain
We can all see the sun in the blue sky
But for most it's just purple rain.

My tribute to Prince
