Dad was moved when two boys
knocked on our front door
It was Larry and a friend
He was in trouble
No licence he had taken his Father's car
He needed to learn to drive
So he could find employment
Months later his dad died in his arms
No mother no father Larry was alone
Both of us joined to serve our country
With a third friend we played baseball every day
The three amigos--oh did I mention Ron
Ron Santo went on to play for the Cubs
A Hall of fame player and the third Amigo
