'' You Enjoy What You Do ''

The master of rhyme,
Said, now is the time,
To write whatever you choose,
It can be emotional or perhaps sublime,
Let it shock or even amuse.

The content is yours,
Give it many contours,
Lead your audience on a trip to the stars,
Simplicity itself is what allures,
Let them feel they have landed on Mars.

What your reader sees,
May well shock or please,
We all have a mind of our own,
There will be those you will never appease,
Don't let critique become overblown.

Let your audience enjoy,
You may well annoy,
But as long as you retain your pride,
The power of the pen can make or destroy,
Ensure you do not need to hide.

Some like to shock,
Your efforts they'll block,
But if your feelings come from within,
You'll know full well when to take stock,
At times you will need a thick skin.

It's a slippery slope,
But you will cope,
There are those who live for disputes,
To the weak and lonely try to give hope,
Don't ever walk away from your roots.

Forever be aware,
Those people out there,
Are in reality no different from you,
For others feelings please show you care,
Make sure,

‘' You Enjoy What You Do ‘'
