'' You Must Have The Will ''
You need persistence,
To enjoy an existence,
Not everything will go your own way,
Against negativity you must put up resistance,
Live to fight just one more day,
There's more good than bad,
Does that talk drive you mad?
If it does then take time for reflection,
Focus on the positive it makes you feel glad,
At times we all need some correction.
Try your best not to judge,
Serious issues don't fudge,
By ignoring them they won't disappear,
If in the wrong be prepared to budge,
It's much better than shedding a tear.
Do not be headstrong,
Apologise when wrong,
You can't buy a good reputation,
Lies have a tendency to string you along,
Remember that when you feel temptation.
To yourself stay true,
Yes, I mean you,
Of your life you must stay in control,
To promises made you must remain true,
Lest you leave a stain on your soul.
To those you love most,
Don't be a ghost,
Be there in their times of need,
If you do you can forever boast,
On their recovery you planted the seed.
From problems don't run,
Easier said than done?
When you feel as if you've had your fill,
With a little self-help life can be fun,
To live again,
