 POETICAL ME

The path to Zia

In words her own she shares her path
Of heart strings tugged made once of glass
Yet words will spell and spill unto
Her page of songs and life clung to

She sees the light of dawn this day
Becomes the frost on window pane
Pure breath her own will leave her mark
Shedding some light on subjects dark

Mother of two, once bride to one
Writes of subjects to touch someone
If just to feel they're not alone
There still is life to call one's own

The path to Zia has many curves
Countless to count and wandered words
Leading to peace and understanding
Of life, this path so much demanding

Another write, a poet's need
Songwriter's heart, much sung indeed
