Now listen to the Lord,
Hear what He has to say;
Let not Him be ignored,
Rather trust and obey.
Stand up and plead your case,
At the mountains and hills;
Of the charges you face,
From all your sinful ills.
Listen to His lawsuit,
Of the strong foundations;
And evil that does root,
With its violations.
The lawsuit He filed,
Is against His people;
That not reconciled,
Going to His temple.
What has He done to you?
As you try His patience;
Only your point of view,
And having no conscience.
He brought you from the land,
Freed you from slavery;
Away from sinking sand,
Giving you bravery.
I sent Moses to lead,
As you crossed the Red Sea;
Manna and quail to feed,
To the place you should be.
Remember of the king,
Of Moab planned to do;
A journey that would bring,
To a land just for you.
So what should you then bring?
When in front of the Lord;
Not only Lord but King,
Who is loved and adored.
Should you give your first born,
A young child for sin;
Enticed where you sojourn,
Corrupted you within.
God told you what is good,
And to do what is right;
When doing as you should,
Brings favor in His sight.
Walk humbly with the Lord,
Showing loving kindness;
And then you shall be cured,
Of spiritual blindness.
