How truly blessed we are
For those friends
Who understand us
Who love us unconditonally
Even when we are not loving ourselves
Who lift us up
And inspire us to be
More than we have ever dreamed possible

Whom we can go a long time
Without speaking to each other
But somehow manage to pick up
 Right where we left off
As we get older, we come to understand
 It is not the quantity
But the quality of those friendships
That are important

People come into our lives
For a reason, a season, or a lifetime
To teach us lessons about ourselves
And when they leave, bless them
For we have helped them
On their journey as well
And for those who are meant to stay
That bond can never be broken
