lost and then found

Lands End

Lands end far away
Forward sends
A lullaby that
Enters in the ear
And down the spine as it tingles
Lands end closer still
Behind the mystery
A lullaby that enters in
And makes the body shake
The knees bow down and we surrender
Lands beginning
Forward we tread
A lullaby that's singing
The footsteps seeking ground
No man has been there before
I wish to see the golden stairs
And swim in Lakes that feed not starve me
The earth shakes for awhile
Lands end closer still
The winter falls and cold sets in
There are ways to believe
So can spirit of heart succeed
