Poetic-Verses

'' Why Not You ''

When the body dies,
Your atoms move on,
Those deathly sighs,
Mean a new dawn,
That's truth not lies,
You're not really gone,
It's onward to pastures new.

Where do we go,
No-one can say,
Does anyone know,
We will see a new day,
A new life will flow,
 Is that why we pray,
Don't let it cause you ado.

If a Heaven awaits,
That's all well and good,
Through the pearly gates,
Is where you'll be stood,
Are you in dire straits?
If you've been a hood,
You'll find out if Hell is true.

No need to hurry,
You've got plenty of time,
Try not to worry,
Make your living sublime,
Don't every scurry,
To waste it is a crime,
Ensure you see this life through.

When the end is nigh,
Don't feel despair,
Going out on a high,
Will show that you care,
Death you cannot deny,
Although you're still there,
It's only from here you've withdrew.

So don't be afraid,
That of proof there's a lack,
If you've made the grade,
Turn defence to attack,
Though it has to be said,
No one's ever came back,
There's always a first,
