In our life, living and love, sometimes we get backed up against the wall
sometimes, we slip and fall
Sometimes we are down
feeling, breathless, hopeless, as if we drowned
Sometimes we feel, so frail, so weak
not brave, courageous, or strong, but mild and meek
Sometimes, in our lfe, living and love, we make a mistake
then for the rest of our days, here on this earth, regrets we have, so great
Sometimes, we cry
sometimes we sigh
