respect from others, you will come to know and find

not boastful, demanding and arrogantly bragging

because that is just selfish, self centered and just gross
Be humble and kind when you win, in a race
celebrate when you are with those who love you, and appreciate you, at the right time and place
Dont brag and boast and toot your own horn
be kind caring respectful, humble and warm
Dont be cold ruthless and hard
dont get too over confident, ARROGANT, and COCKY, even if you are better that all the rest and the ALL-STAR
You will learn your lesson sooner or latter, if you continue to toot your own horn, brag and boast
before long, you will fall, and be humbled and become burnt toast
