'' What's Past Can Never Be Altered ''
On your journey while here,
Show respect not fear,
Not everything will go your own way,
Problems in life just don't disappear,
Your decisions are what will hold sway.
People come and go,
Learn what they know,
Regardless if it's good or bad,
Your road ahead is what knowledge will show,
Life is much more than a fad.
Revere all that's alive,
Help them all thrive,
We need them more than they need us,
Unless we assist them we will take a dive,
While here please kick up a fuss.
If you make a mistake,
Do a double take,
Look at who you have affected,
Don't be afraid to slam on the brake,
There's nothing that can't be corrected.
Show a desire,
To love and admire,
The gift of life you've been given,
It's respect and love you will acquire,
If with care and compassion you're driven.
Love who you are,
Keep yourself level par,
Arrogance will disrupt and destroy,
Look out for others and you will go far,
Life was made to enjoy.
Make it your vow,
To live for now,
Though in your future you do have a say,
Strange things can happen, yes and how,
Your tomorrow can be taken away.
One day you'll look back,
We all have that knack,
Of looking at where we have faltered,
Look what at what's written up on the plaque,
