The Mask III
Hiding behind the mask
we pretend
And keep pretending
till the end
But as the end starts
coming near
The mask slowly
starts to tear
And the child inside us
starts to surface
After years of hiding it
shows the face
Childhood and old age
are the two phases
When the masks are not
covering the faces
we pretend
And keep pretending
till the end
But as the end starts
coming near
The mask slowly
starts to tear
And the child inside us
starts to surface
After years of hiding it
shows the face
Childhood and old age
are the two phases
When the masks are not
covering the faces
