One day when I was thirty-seven
A bonnie wee lad was sent from Heaven
He had dimples in his cheeks
His Mum had waited weeks and weeks
But then he came in flaming June
Brought such joy into the room
Time has passed he`s thirty-three
Almost caught up with that old me
The day this bonnie lad came hame
Life would never be the same
For with him he brought such joy
This cute and handsome little boy
Mum and Dad were oh so proud
They almost shouted it out loud
Now he`s wed and getting older
And is just a little bolder
Sweet and gentle kind and true
Bonnie laddie I love you
I don`t see you every day
But I love you anyway
Hope that all your dreams come true
