I REMEMBER, my MOTHERS, THOUGHTFULNESS
how she treated others, even strangers the very ,very BEST

Mom she always, reached out to others with her random acts of KINDNESS
to Show her lovingness, graciousness, and KINDNESS, always, ALWAYS, mom she did her very BEST

Once when mom, was at the grocery store, there was a chasier scanning all of her groceries, then putting every item neatly in a paper bag, then mom she smiled and paid, the bill, then we were about to go on our way
then before departing mom she turned to the grocery clerk and i heard her say, mame, are you pregnant, and she said, when is your baby due, and moms last words to her was may GOD BLESS YOU, ---and thank you mame i heard the woman thankfully say

As soon as we, got home, mom put all the groceries away
then for the young woman in the grocery store, i saw mom quietly, sitting alone, and for her she did pray

The next day, we went to the store
mom she bought blue and pink yarn, and when we got home, she started to crotchet another, blanket more

So ,MOM, once she started a project of a blanket
very busy night and day, this new PROJECT-her it kept

So maybe a month or two latter, we returned to that same grocery store
and mom met that, same pregnant woman once more

The woman, she remembered mom, so very well
she was so very proud to show mom pictures, of her baby, and happy to share with mom and the good news brag and tell

Mom just smiled and said GOD BLESS YOU
as we went back to the car, i knew my mom, and she wasnt through

Home we went, and mom, she said, john- boy ,just wait in the car
she came out with a baby blanket, and she said, lets go back to that grocery store, its not that far

So mom, she went in the grocery-store, and gave that baby blanket of pink and blue
to the young woman in the grocery store, and i knew the simple , THOUGHTFULL, words from her HEART,  that she said to her -was --GOD BLESS YOU-TOO

I will ALWAYS, remember my AGATHA, my dear-dear- mother, and her LOVING, FAITHFULLNESS, her GRACIOUSNESS, her THOUGHTFULNESS
my aggie, agnes, my agatha, my dear MOTHER, she was nothing but the-very- BEST
