Slow to speak, and quick to listen
is how i want to begin this brand new day, ahead of me then
This is the message, to myself that now i send
to just be silent and quiet, reflect, and be my own best friend
I m just trying to stay, focused and on the right track
And not worry, about how others hurt me and dissappointed me, and paying there wrong to them back
For im not going to no longer, try to figure out or understand
how , so disrespectful, others can in a minute, turn, i just dont really know what is on their mind or plan
With now lost communication of some
it leaves me BEWILDERED, confused, and feeling just plain NUMB
For at this point in time, i dont have, much to say about the matter, dont know the reason to this rhyme
so to be slow to speak, and quick to listen, and just let go, and let GOD, work out this miscommunication, in his own TIME
As now, the new morning sun shines in my face
my words i intend, to keep to myself, and reflect, pause with caution, every word that I speak, carefully and slow, not free flowing with haste
I feel that my words of which i now say
have to be slow, and careful, in between ,so as not to cause myself, more confusion, dissappointment, or dismay, this brand new sunny beautuful day
