It's nearing four am and here I sit
Alone, writing these words that shift
Beyond a plane not understood
Beyond myself of could and would
The thoughts that flow have now become
My chase before the morning Sun
Breaks through this day to capture one
Sincere of heart who calls me son
We thought we knew all that we know
Of GOD, of works His yet to show
To make all things impossible
Become today the possible
Sing a song of words in rhyme
Sing with depth for in due time
He shall reveal what He kept stored
Treasures of life your soul implored
More than judge who ruled for you
More in love you thought you knew
For love He made with blood He drew
To give you hope birthed by Him too
Scars and pain that haunt this day
In Him you'll find shall melt away
The constant things that burden all
He takes upon shoulders yours hauled
The cross was His, carried for you
Intent, promise He carried through
To show the path to destiny
Alive and well eternally
