Welcome to My Poetry Site
You were once my dearest friend,
and stood beside me to the end.
Your gift to me unfailing love,
Reflected yet from God above.
Though time was such confusing haze,
You held my hand, the Lord to gaze.
We bowed our heads deep into prayer,
I felt the Father meet us there.
Your time on Earth has left too soon,
You sing with Angel's glorious tune.
The pain you carried deep in heart
Has been replaced by a fresh start.
The rain is fierce here on this field,
But God's great plan I must now yield.
With thankfulness I give a sigh
That God ordained our bond from high.
I will no longer see your face,
as I travel in this place.
Yet this I know through God's grace cup,
We will embrace when I rise up.
