It`s the end of the day it`s over and done
It may have rained or you may have had sun,
Some things may have been lost and others found
You may have laughed a lot or maybe just frowned.
Whatever the outcome there`s no going back
However hard you try you cannot backtrack,
The mistakes you made are written in stone
And any chance you had you may have blown.
We all make mistakes it`s just being human
And we`ve been making them since time first began,
If we learn from them then that is okay
We won`t do tomorrow what we did today.
Tomorrow is a new day let`s not forget
And so far there are no mistakes in it yet,
An unwritten sheet on which we can create
We can start afresh with a clean slate.
