My daughter-in-law, patty, is talking on the phone to her sister FE
and i heard her talking as she was passing me -by, ---FE-probably said, how is DAD, then patty said, he is just resting on the couch, probably preoccupied with his BRAIN, , i heard her on the phone SAY
PREOCCUPIED, in his BRAIN
as patty she knows me pretty well the SAME
Sometimes she will hear me mumble and grumble, and she will say, dad are you ALRIGHT
really she keeps an eye on me day and NIGHT
The other day she said to me, dad i heard you coughing are you SICK
then she made me, some home made, chicken vegetable soup, and that did the TRICK
This morning i was down stairs and she said when latter, she came down, dad are you alright and i said yea im okay, and WHY
she said she heard me say oh GOD, and i took a deep breath of SIGH
I told patty that i just wrote a poem, about my- little girl christina anne, and it made me CRY
and she gave me a hug, and said dad she is always right here with us , dont SIGH
Then awhile ago i was just kinda staring at the WALL
and again she said dad are you okay, and again im alright she heard me say, and alot is on my mind, thats ALL
Then just now as she is talking to her sister FE
dads preoccupied in his brain to fe i heard her just now SAY
I guess i am, PREOCCUPIED,IN MY BRAIN
as im thinking of all of my peoples the SAME
But im very thankful, for my daughter in law PATTY
because we have talked and talked, and argued and argued--up and down, round and round, about everything from A---to----Z---her and ME
And i know that she loves and -RESPECTS ME
and I LOVE, and RESPECT, her truly--TOO-- you-- SEE
