From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph

For a moment in time their love was redirected back to each other...

In the warmth of her embrace

I feel the strength of what she wears on her sleeves

Her cheeks rise against mine

Can't see her face but

It's no wonder how it she easily thieves

Leaving me

Staring at mental photographs

Thinking

All the beauty in this world

Has nothing on Her Beauty that's in mine

She perfects her craft

I watch and instantly wish

For the ability to rewind the hands of time

Never considered this before

Maybe changing my residence

Eager to see if she's still
Deep in the heart of the Lone Star

Love how she feeds my soul

She's the best friend I never let go

If it's the same for her

I'm hoping she tells me so

So we can continue our postponed journey

Dancing through the storms

To be welcomed by colorful results

The way it always plays out to be

As we're 30 seconds from Mars

She disappears

Without a trace or alibi

Her, my thoughts continue to consume

Without her, my life difficult yet able to resume

So I search for her core

For I don't want our story to conclude
