Without GOD in our lives - there are no safe places -
Like Jericho walls - they can crumble to dust - or like
Tanks left abandoned - in the hot desert wastelands -
Though built like a fortress - they can soon turn
To rust .

But - in the Cleft of the Rock - while the storm passes
By -  we  are safe from  the power of the enemy's grip -
And when we heed the the instructions from GOD's still
Voice of warning - He protects us from danger - when
Our foot starts to slip.

For He promised His angels would stand guard about
Us - though the mountains might crumble - and our faith
Maybe small - He has said - that our feet will not dash on
The rocks of destruction - if we stand on His word - He
Will not let us fall.

Yes - throughout All our trials and temptations our
Saviour is for us - and we can stand on His truth that
He won't let  us go - as  we quietly trust - in His hand of
Protection and guidance - He'll be with us forever - on the
Steep mountain heights - or the deep valleys

Today I feel led to remind people that the safest place to be is in
the cleft of the Rock of Jesus . Especially as all around us is shaky
ground ....full of uncertainty about what the future holds .

But, when we put our faith in the One who knows the Beginning
from the End , then we can be assured that His plans for us will be
good , perfect and acceptable.

So , may I suggest that you place everything and everyone into
His care today , and  then walk forward one step at a time , holding
firmly onto the One who knows and loves you best.
