I feel like i lost a week of TIME
as i was injured, hurt and, was not in the mood to even write a poem, with RHYME
But im on the REBOUND
and my recovery is coming AROUND
It was a long WEEK
this injured elbow and shoulder, left me exhausted, sleepless, and relief, i have, SEEKED
So im a bouncing back strong
and maybe in another week, this pain, discomfort, stress and swelling, will be all done and GONE
This injury, has been hindering me, and holding me back
but low and behold, i have passed the test, with my mission , still in tact, and im right on track
So it was a challenging test
i really didnt get much pain free rest
So i will contunue to stay focused on the prize
and set new realistic goals, and to VICTOrY--RISE--RISE, and RISE
