Do you write for fun?
Or is your pen like a gun
Do you like to give pain or pleasure?
How you portray be it either one,
They both come in equal measure.
What we read,
Can make us bleed,
It can invade the inside of your head,
Writing a story is a mystical deed,
Where the individual wants to be led.
What we write,
Can give second sight,
Make you laugh or even console,
Shed a tear or cry with delight,
In the art world you play a role.
A poet's unique,
That response they seek,
Though at times it's not what they expected,
Some will lift others leave you weak,
Enthuse you or leave you dejected.
You are that leader,
The thoughts of life seeder,
But one thing you mustn't forget,
Is every writer needs a reader,
Ensure they do not feel regret.
Be it fiction or real,
Write what you feel,
Words flow across every nation,
What you project can be a big deal,
Let harmony be your foundation
Please be aware,
To those millions out there,
Your talent is a valuable possession,
Never forget to show that you care,
