BUT HE IS ONLY ONE GOD !

He has Commanded that you Worship Not Except Him,
But Most of the People do Not Know

12:38, Qur'an
[Joseph said] "And I have followed the religion
of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
And it was not for us to associate anything with God.
That is from the favor of God upon us and upon the people,
but most of the people are not grateful."

12:40, Qur'an
[Joseph continued] "O [my] two companions of prison,
are separate lords better or God, the One, the Prevailing?
You worship not besides Him except [mere]
names you have named them, you and your fathers,
for which God has sent down no authority.
Legislation is not but for God.
He has commanded that you worship not except Him.
That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know."

14:52, Qur'an
[And] this [Qur'an] is notification
for the people that they may be warned thereby and
that they may know that He is but
one God and that those of understanding will be reminded.

The Lord our God is One Lord
I am the First and the Last
Worship the Lord your God
God has Submitted All Things under His Feet
All Power Belongs to God
You Produce a Falsehood in Idols
They Changed their Glory into the Similitude of an Ox
They do Not Actually Follow His "Partners"
They have Taken the Messiah as Lord Beside God
My Father is Greater than I
Before Abraham was, I am
No Servant Can Serve Two Masters
Nor is There to Him Any Equivalent
They will be Deniers of their Worship
No Idolater has Any Inheritance in the Kingdom
Alleluia, for the Lord God Omnipotent Reigns

The Lord our God is One Lord

[Shepherd of Hermas 26:1 - 2], Gospel
"First of all, believe that God is One,
even He who created all things and set them in order,
and brought all things from non-existence into being,
who comprehends all things, being alone incomprehensible.
Believe Him therefore, and fear Him,
and in this fear be self-restrained.
Keep these things, and you will cast off
 all wickedness from yourself,
and will clothe yourself with
every excellence of righteousness,
and will live to God, if you keep this commandment."

James 2:19, Gospel
[Thus if] you believe that there is one God; you do well,
the devils also believe, and tremble.

1 Corinthians 8:4 - 6, Gospel
[And] as concerning therefore the eating of
those things that are offered in sacrifice to idols,
we know that an idol [is] nothing in the world,
and that [there is] no other God but one.
For though there are those that are called gods,
whether in heaven or in earth (as there are many gods,
and many lords), but to us [there is but] one God,
 the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in Him;
and one Master, Jesus the Messiah,
by whom [are] all things, and we by him.

Mark 12:28, Gospel
And one of the scribes came,
and having heard them reasoning together,
and perceiving that he had answered them well,
asked him, "Which is the first commandment of all?"

Mark 12:29 - 31, Gospel
[Jesus answered] "The first of all the commandments
[is], Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord,
and you will love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul, and with all your mind,
and with all your strength - this [is] the first commandment.
And the second [is] like, [namely] this,
'You will love your neighbor as yourself.'
There is no other commandment greater than these."

Matthew 19:16, Gospel
And, behold, one came and said to him,
"Good Master, what good thing will I do,
that I may have Eternal Life?"

Matthew 19:17 - 18, Gospel
And [Jesus] said to him, "Why do you call me good?
[There are] none good but one, [that is],
God, but if you will enter into Life, keep the commandments."
  He says to him, "Which?"

Luke 10:26, Gospel
[Jesus] said to him, "What is written in the law?
  How do you read?"

Deuteronomy 6:4 - 5, Torah
Hear, O Israel, The Lord our God [is] one Lord,
and you will love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul, and with all your might.

Luke 10:28, Gospel
And [Jesus] said to him, "You have answered right;
do this, and you will live."

John 17:3, Gospel
[Jesus said] "And this is life eternal,
that they might know You, the only true God,
and the Messiah, Jesus, whom You have sent."

Isaiah 43:10 - 11, Torah
"You [are] My witnesses," the Lord says,
"And My servant whom I have chosen,
that you may know and believe Me,
and understand that I [am] He,
before Me there was no God formed,
neither will there be after Me.
I, [even] I, [am] the Lord; and beside me
 [there is] no savior."

2:163, Qur'an
And your god is one God.
There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him,
the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

I am the First and the Last

Isaiah 44:6, Torah
Thus the Lord, the King of Israel,
 and his redeemer the Lord of hosts says;
"I am the First, and I am the Last; and beside
 Me there is no God."

Revelation 22:13, Gospel
I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End,
the First and the Last.

57:3, Qur'an
He is the First and the Last,
the Ascendant and the Intimate,
and He is, of all things, Knowing.

Worship the Lord your God
and Him Only will you Serve

21:25, Qur'an
And We sent not before you any messenger except
that We revealed to him that,
"There is no deity except Me, so worship Me."

Psalms 95:3 - 6, Torah
For the Lord [is] a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
In His hand [are] the deep places of the earth,
the strength of the hills [is] also His.
The sea [is] His, and He made it,
and His hands formed the dry [land].
O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

43:63 - 64, Qur'an
And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said,
"I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear
to you some of that over which you differ,
so fear God and obey me.
Indeed, God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him.
  This is a straight path."

31:21, Qur'an
[But] when it is said to them,
"Follow what God has revealed,"
 they say, "Rather,
we will follow that upon which we found our fathers."
Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze?

Matthew 4:9 - 10, Gospel
[Satan] said to him,
"All these things will I give you,
if you will fall down and worship me."
 Then Jesus said to him,
"Get away from here, Satan, for it is written,
'You will worship the Lord your God, and Him only will you serve.'"

21:92, Qur'an
Indeed this, your religion,
is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.

God has Submitted All Things under His Feet

Psalms 81:15, Torah
The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves to Him,
but their time should have endured forever.

Romans 10:3, Gospel
For they,
being ignorant of God's righteousness
and going about to establish their own righteousness,
have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.

James 4:7, Gospel
Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 Corinthians 15:27 - 28, Gospel
For He has submitted all things under His feet.
But when He says all things are submitted under
[Him, it is] manifest that He is excepted,
who submitted all things under Him.
And when all things will be submitted to Him,
 then the Son [of man]
himself will also be submitted to Him who submitted
all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

3:83, Qur'an
So is it other than the religion of God they desire,
while to Him have submitted [all]
those within the heavens and earth,
willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned?

22:78, Qur'an
And strive for God with the striving due to Him.
He has chosen you and has not placed upon
you in the religion any difficulty.
[It is] the religion of your father,
 Abraham.  God named you "Muslims"
[in submission] before [in former scriptures]
 and in this [revelation]
that the Messenger may be a witness
over you and you may be witnesses over the people.
So establish prayer and give charity and hold fast to God.
  He is your protector;
and excellent is the protector,
 and excellent is the helper.

28:51 - 53, Qur'an
And We have [repeatedly] conveyed
to them the Qur'an that they might be reminded.
Those to whom We gave the Scripture before it
 - they are believers in it.
And when it is recited to them, they say,
"We have believed in it; indeed,
it is the truth from our Lord.
Indeed we were, [even] before it,
 Muslims [submitting to God]."

31:22, Qur'an
And whoever submits his face to God
while he is a doer of good -
then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold.
And to God will be the outcome of [all] matters.

3:20, Qur'an
So if they argue with you, say,
"I have submitted myself to God,
and [so have] those who follow me."
And say to those who were given the Scripture and
[to] the unlearned, "Have you submitted yourselves?"
 And if they submit,
they are rightly guided; but if they turn away -
then upon you is only the [duty of] notification.
And God is Seeing of [His] servants.

All Power Belongs to God

Romans 13:1, Gospel
Let every soul submit to the higher powers.
For there is no power but of God,
the powers that be, are ordained by God.

2:165, Qur'an
And if only they who have wronged would consider
[that] when they see the punishment,
[they will be certain] that all power belongs to God
and that God is severe in punishment.

Psalms 62:11, Torah
[And] God has spoken once;
twice have I heard this; that power [belongs] to God.

3:26, Qur'an
Say, "O God, Owner of Sovereignty,
You give sovereignty to whom You will
and You take sovereignty away from whom You will.
You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will.
In Your hand is [all] good.
Indeed, You are over all things competent."

You Produce a Falsehood in Idols

You Saw No Manner of Similitude
on the Day the Lord Spoke

John 5:37, Gospel
[Jesus said] "The Father Himself,
who has sent me, has borne witness of me.
You have neither heard His voice at any time,
 nor seen His shape."

Exodus 33:20, Torah
And He said, "You cannot see My face,
for no man will see Me, and live."

6:102 - 103, Qur'an
That is God, your Lord; there is no deity except Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him.  And He is Disposer of all things.  Vision perceives Him not, but He perceives [all] vision; and He is the Subtle, the Acquainted.

Deuteronomy 4:15 - 19, Torah
Therefore, take good heed to yourselves; for you saw no manner of similitude on the day [that] the Lord spoke to you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire.  Unless you corrupt [yourselves], and make a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, the likeness of any beast that [is] on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flies in the air, the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that [is] in the waters beneath the earth.  And unless you lift up your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, [even] all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord your God has divided to all nations under the whole heaven.

Deuteronomy 4:23 - 24, Torah
[Then] take heed to yourselves, unless you forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which He made with you, and make a graven image, [or] the likeness of any [thing], which the Lord your God has forbidden you.  For the Lord your God [is] a consuming fire, [even] a jealous God.

Acts 15:20, Gospel
[So] we write to them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and [from] fornication, and [from] things strangled, and [from] blood.

25:3, Qur'an
But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection.

29:16 - 17, Qur'an
And [We sent] Abraham, when he said to his people, "Worship God and fear Him.  That is best for you, if you should know.  You only worship, besides God, idols, and you produce a falsehood.  Indeed, those you worship besides God do not possess for you [the power of] provision.  So seek from God provision and worship Him and be grateful to Him.  To Him you will be returned."

They Changed their Glory into the Similitude of an Ox

They Worshiped and Served the Creature More than the Creator

*1 Corinthians 10:7, Gospel
Neither be idolaters, as some of them [were]; as it is written, 'The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.'

*Exodus 32:6 - 9, Torah
And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.  And the Lord said to Moses, "Go, get down; for your people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted [themselves].  They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them, they have made themselves a molten calf, and have worshiped it, and have sacrificed thereto, and said, 'These [are] your gods, O Israel, which have brought you up out of the land of Egypt.'  And the Lord said to Moses, "I have seen these people, and, behold, they [are] a stiffnecked people.'"

Psalms 106:20 - 21, Torah
Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox who eats grass.  They forgot God their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt.

1 Corinthians 10:11 - 12, Gospel
Now all these things happened to them for examples, and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world have come.  Therefore let him who thinks he stands, take heed unless he falls.

Romans 1:21 - 23, Gospel
Because when they knew God, they glorified [Him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like a corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

9:31, Qur'an
[And so, like the calf,] they have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides God, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary.  And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him.  Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.

Romans 1:25, Gospel
[Thus they] changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever.  Amen.
