Cold as Ice
As we all grow older
Many of us grow colder
Not only in the extremities
But also in our sensitivities
Years of hardships and bitter experience
Take toll also on our countenance
And our face becomes a cold mask
A reflection of our colder insides
A child who was cheerful and nice
Can grow up to be cold as ice
Many of us grow colder
Not only in the extremities
But also in our sensitivities
Years of hardships and bitter experience
Take toll also on our countenance
And our face becomes a cold mask
A reflection of our colder insides
A child who was cheerful and nice
Can grow up to be cold as ice
