'' The Human Is Blind ''
Open your eyes,
We have limited supplies,
The consequences we tend to ignore,
Our leaders then bombard us with lies,
The truth never comes to the fore.
We are all at odds,
With religion and Gods,
Unseen deities cannot feel ashamed,
So we continue giving them wads,
While the one they call Satan gets blamed.
Living by the sword,
Fit's with our accord,
When aggrieved the answer is death,
Billions have died in the name of their Lord,
Given medals for that final breath.
Could intelligent life,
Really cause such strife,
Well I'm afraid the answer is yes,
Our arrogance and stupidity can cut like a knife,
As can our greed to possess.
We can kill or cure,
Unnerve, reassure,
But we're now on a short term lease,
Genocide among some has a certain allure,
Our species just can't live in peace.
Over population,
Threatens every nation,
There's just not enough to go round,
Our solution is usually a confrontation,
Thereafter millions are laid in the ground.
The Human Race,
Puts on many a face,
From the cruel to the very kind,
To hypocrisy we cannot keep up the pace,
In reality,
