Welcome to My Poetry Site

Another night with little sleep
I try so hard to move my feet.
A cup of Joe and wholesome food
My thoughts drift off to ponder You.

So many times You pulled me through
Yet still I wrest with feelings blue.
Though change is good and future’s bright
I wish I could the past rewrite.

Too many hearts will have to mend
But on You for that I’ll depend.
I wanted to be everything
Yet got tied up in harmful string.

When I am down, Your name I call
To now sustain me from a fall.
For You who made me still believe
That I can shake off bitter leaves.

I’ll fall into Your arms of peace
And let You heal, my pain release.
I will forgive, for it is right
To cast that poison out of sight.

Instead of rage and tears of grief
On me You’ll place Your golden leaf.
For all You promise will arise:
Transform the black to brilliant prize.
