'' They Started The Third World War ''

Our worldly dictators,
Decided to meet,
It was time to instigate peace,
Our ex war creators,
Disputes they'd delete,
All fighting between us would cease.

Enemies from the past,
Now firm friends,
An opportunity to stop all the killing,
Fraternity would last,
As our hatred ends,
But only if all of them were willing.

They got underway,
Off to a flier,
What one said the other refutes,
We'll make peace pay,
He replied you're a liar,
Another of their petty disputes.

We'll be under one flag,
Oh no we'll not,
Our territories are not up for sale,
They all lost the rag,
We'll not share all we've got,
We can't let this meeting fail.

Let's take our oils,
Those vast reserves,
We know are beginning to run low,
If we share the spoils,
The world it serves,
The O.P.E.C. countries said no.

There's diamonds and gold,
Plenty to go around,
We can all take equal shares,
The room went cold,
As they went to ground,
It caught them all unawares.

We must do good,
It's why we're here,
World harmony's in the palm of our hands,
If we do what we should,
There'll be no more fear,
True love spread throughout our lands.

But as they couldn't agree,
The battle commenced,
In the end they all asked, what for,
As they were all free,
Yes, completely ring fenced,
