'' A Special Reserve ''
I met a girl,
My head did a twirl,
Suddenly I was filled with elation,
My mind was in a tornado like swirl,
A strange but wonderful sensation.
We didn't know,
Where it would go,
But our feelings we could not disguise,
We both agreed we'd take it slow,
Lest this feeling dies.
Lasting longer,
It became much stronger,
I could feel my heart miss a beat,
Deep inside I could feel the hunger,
I lived every day just to meet.
Soon we couldn't part,
Was this the start,
Of a love that no one could destroy,
Cupids arrow had pierced my heart,
Love was made to enjoy.
Our loving years,
Brought both laughter and tears,
But our happiness always shone through,
It's amazing how fast our time disappears,
You don't believe it's happening to you.
We matured together,
Withstood stormy weather,
As one we were destined to be,
Looked upon as birds of a feather,
With that we could not disagree.
Together we grew old,
On love we were sold,
She stayed as beautiful as the day we first met,
Joint passion is truly a power to behold,
Out time I will never regret.
We both lived well,
As anyone would tell,
But injustice will always prevail,
I'll tell you lord to go rot in Hell,
It's close to the wind you do sail.
Now she's moved on,
I feel put upon,
This ending we didn't deserve,
Though I'm still here my beloved has gone,
