'' She'll Make No Distinction ''

Get the message across,
We humans talk dross,
We're not as clever as we'd have you believe,
Would you crucify your saviour on a wooden cross?
Then for centuries pretend that you grieve.

Destroying what sustains,
When not much remains,
Is the mark of someone who's thick?
I have to admit that although it pains,
Out of destruction we do get a kick.

In our quest for oil,
We pollute the soil,
It's the same with diamonds and gold,
From our actions we should recoil,
But we'll kill for that which is sold.

Vast holes underground,
They are all around,
One day they'll eventually collapse,
Our intelligent ways are not very sound,
As we know we can't fill in the gaps.

We love to destroy,
Those who annoy,
To justify it we call it a war,
Butchering each other we tend to enjoy,
It's peace we seem to abhor.

Are you aware,
We can't live out there,
The environment is far too severe,
From interfering we need to beware,
Lest they make us disappear.

What we've done is a crime,
We've abused our time,
We have rolled our last lonely dice,
Humans are now way past their prime,
For our misdeeds we will pay the price.

Mother Nature rules,
She holds all the tools,
Our species is now facing extinction,
When the need arises she gets rid of the fools,
For us,
