Good Weather Gone

the scarlet leaves
no longer hang on the trees
the wind has knocked them down
they're gathered heaped upon the ground
skeleton trees now surround the balcony
the air is tinged with somber alchemy
and the skies once blue now
grey
the sun has shied away
the clouds have entered into town
and claimed the horizon as their
permanent convention
if Hallowed-eve is some macabre invention
then Nature surely has set the darkened stage
the story line of good weather gone
now, mostly shadows crow across
the page

I woke with this in my head and rapidly wrote it down.
Perhaps incomplete, but this is all there shall be.
