Once upon a time there was a baby
Whose smile could just steal your heart away
He grew up with his blue eyes twinkling brightly
And made us proud in every kind of way
Now that baby`s grown and is a man now
And he is a lad as handsome as can be
Quieter now than when he was a baby
And you know that laddie you`ll stay free
He is who he is... no airs about him
What you see is what he gives to life
A loving lad who gives a hug when needed
One day he`ll find himself a lovely wife
He will be faithful and will hold her dearly
His love will be as true as lovers can
But he is in no hurry to get married
A quiet, bright and thoughtful clever man
For now he`s at university learning
All that technology tutors have to give
One day I know he`ll find a little magic
With research he will make that magic live
For now he is content to save and study
Work quietly as his massive brain takes in
Every thing that teachers want to teach him
And one day to the world I know he`ll bring
Something that his mind has sought so hard for
Something that will help mankind someway
And he will never ever want for money
Because he doesn`t spend it anyway
We are proud of this our bonnie laddie
We love him and we know he loves us too
I would just say my son...now you just listen
Find some time to play as well won`t you
Before you know it time will fly away
