I really can`t believe that`s true
It seems like yesterday a shout
As the midwife said, she`s here...she`s out
Mummy and Daddy cried with joy
As they already had a boy
So Lacie Lou with sparkling eyes
Yesterday was baby cries
How come you have turned a grownup two
What on earth did Father time do
For the years flew very fast
You must learn to make it last
Before you know it time will hurry

So slow it down a little please
Sit a while on Mummy`s knees
